How-To Videos

The Center is a dynamic, ever-changing, ever-evolving organization that, at its core, is focused on how to improve the patient experience. In light of the coronavirus pandemic, the Center had to limit visitation to our facilities almost completely (visitation has since been loosened, somewhat). While it was a difficult decision to make, we understood that the impact on patients and families was immense. We quickly went about developing a plan to mitigate this impact. As such, the Center is in the process of outfitting our residences with assistive technology to greatly improve the well-being of each patient trusted to our care. Each of our 55 suites will have a wi-fi connected iPad on a secure swing arm (estimated to be installed in September of 2020). The iPads will be preloaded with video-chat software and apps to improve the well-being and safety of our patients.

The following links are how-to videos that can guide patients and families through some of the new options the iPads will make available to them.

eMenuCHOICE

eMenuCHOICE is the Center's new digital food ordering system. It connects patients and families directly with our kitchen staff through the use of the patient's connected in-suite iPad, or any connected device. In addition to removing the need for paper menus, eMenuCHOICE is completely digital. Families, no matter where they're located, can order food for their loved ones (or check on what they've been eating!).
